报告人简介

Dr. GuangZheng is anAssociate Professor of Remote Sensing at the International Institute for Earth System Science (ESSI) in theNanjing University (NJU). His researches focus on the application of bothAerial Laser Scanning (ALS) and Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) oninvestigating the three dimensional (3-D ) vegetation structure (especially theleaf area index, LAI), and aboveground biomass (AGB) mapping usingprocessed-based ecological model driven by multi-source remotely sensed data.He got the Ph.D degree from Remote Sensing and Geospatial AnalysisLaboratory (RSGAL) at University of Washington (UW), and worked closelywith Dr. L. Monika Moskal tounderstand the canopy structure using multi-source remote sensing data.
